Description

Developed in conjunction with specialist teachers in the field of visual impairment, the activities have been specially designed for use with children with low vision, including those with cerebral visual impairment and complex needs.

Twenty one high contrast animated images and great sound effects designed to provide visual stimulation and to develop hand eye skills for users with low vision and perceptual difficulties. A still image appears and then a touch on the screen will give a great sound and animated reward. A choice of eight basic foreground and background colours, including black and white, make these activities ideal for assessment of picture recognition and colour preferences. They are also excellent visual activities for babies who really respond to the black and white options and sounds.

The activities can also be used with one switch for cause and effect and with two switches for basic choice making, as images can be stepped through using one switch and animated by pressing the second switch.

• Twenty one everyday images as bold silhouettes.
• Choice of eight background and foreground colours - choose black and white for a great visual impact.
• Animations are accompanied by a sound effect or music.
• Different types of animation allow you to investigate users preferences.
• Great for assessing colour preferences by choosing different combinations.
• Use printouts to provide matching activities. Hint: pressing the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time sends a picture of the current screen to the camera roll.
• One and two switch access options compatible with currently available switch interfaces.
